Since our new website went up we have been inundated with email requests for a variety of engines, gearboxes, parts, panels, etc. It does take us some time to answer all these requests (which we try and do ASAP!).

Some of you simply want a price for an engine/gearbox package; others need a complete half cut; and, some want to know the availability of certain parts, or whether part X fits car Y.

In an effort to alleviate the obvious questions you should read through the FAQ below before emailing us – you question might be answered, saving us all time and effort.

Note: All our prices are in Australian dollars.

Q. Do you do installs?
A. No we do not.

Q. When will the next container arrive?
A. We travel regularly to Japan and ship container loads of engines, parts and panels back to Australia. These containers can take some time to arrive here via ship. We try to indicate the time frame on our website. Check the home page.

Q. Do you ship overseas?
A. Under normal circumstances, no we do not.

Q. Can you ship interstate?
A. Yes, we can give you a quote for interstate shipping.

Q. Can I order over the phone and pay C.O.D?
A. We can ship certain parts to you C.O.D. Call us for details on (02) 9896 6111 or (02) 9636 4301

Q. Is halfcut “A” sold?
A. The only way you’ll know is to ring us as our turnover and stock levels change every day.

Q. Does that engine come with a gearbox? ECU? Etc
A. Check our current pricelist. The information you require may be there. If it is not on our pricelist then call us for details.

Q. I need a quote for an EJ20T WRX engine?
A. We need to know more – tell us what year and model and we can better answer this question.

Q. I’m looking for a CA18DET half cut? A Silvia SR20 Turbo half cut?
A. Normally our packages include engine, gearbox, ECU, uncut loom, axles, brakes, etc. We can give you a price for a complete package that gives you everything you need to successfully do a conversion. If we have a halfcut of a particular engine it will be on our halfcut page.

Q. Do you have Mazda Rotary engines?
A. We no longer stock rotary engines but we do have unwarranted units that are suitable for rebuild only. These sell for $1200.

Q. Do you stock Integra Type R engines? (B18C3 etc)
A. These engines are getting harder and harder to find, and are comparatively expensive. We don not normally stock them but check our Honda section.

Q. I need an LSD for an early model Datsun?
A. Call Stewart Wilkins on (02) 4577 2400. He is a Datsun/Nissan specialist.

Q. I’m after quad throttle bodies for a Toyota 1600 20V?
A. We can supply these units for $400.

Q. Is the red top NI version of the SR20 easy to find?
A. This is the NISMO special and is extremely hard to find.

Q. I’m looking for a 1998 – 2000 model halfcut?
A. Our Japanese units are 1995 or earlier only.

Q. Is there any difference in price between Rear Wheel Drive and Front Wheel Drive packages?
A. Yes. For example, a CA18DET package sells for $2000 for RWD and $2400 for FWD.

Q. Do you supply FJ20 engines?
A. We do stock these engines but their supply is slowly drying up. You might like to consider the SR20 packages as better value for money.

Q. Do you stock the Mitsubishi 4G93T engine?
A. No, all our Mitsubishi engine packages are sourced from early model EVOs.

Q. Can you supply oversize supercharger pulleys for a 4AGZE?
A. No.

Q. I need a 1JZGTE?
A. We can supply a halfcut for $4200. Gearbox alone is $2000.

Q. What is the difference between the Mazda GTX and GTR engine package?
A. The GTR is $3200 complete and is a stronger package. The GTX is $2400.

Q. How much is an RB25DET half cut?
A. $4000 complete.

Q. I have an R33 Nissan Skyline. My battery is flat. Can you supply a replacement?
A. You should try one of the specialist battery suppliers such as Battery World, or even Super Cheap Auto.

Q. Do you stock the auto gearbox for the KA24DE engine?
A. This is an Aussie only engine. Try your local wreckers.

Q. What is the difference between the silver top and black top 4AGE 20V engines?
A. The black top engine has more power (approx. 12Kw), bigger cams and throttle bodies, and sells for $3500. The silver top is $2500.

Q. Do you have an exhaust for my car?
A. We have a variety of exhaust systems, in all sizes, stainless and mild steel, with mufflers to suit. Ring us for availability and price.

Q. Do you have any Toyota 4AGE blue top/bigport engines?
A. In RWD, yes we can supply these units for $1800.

Q. I have a Nissan Skyline R32 Turbo 4WD with an auto box that I want to convert to manual using an R33 5-speed.
A. You would have to change the flywheel and gearbox. It would be easier to use an R32 box ($1200) and convert your clutch. We have aftermarket CUSCO items for $1200 that would be suitable.

Q. How much is an EG6 Civic front cut with a B16A?
A. $3200 complete.
