SSS Automotive is actively involved in motorsport with our cars running in the Improved Production and Sport Sedan classes in the NSW State Championships.

The SSS Automotive Nissan Skyline, driven by Geoff Fear, recently competed in Round 1 at Wakefield Park in March. Geoff runs in the Over 2 Litre class, with the Skyline having to use restrictors to reduce it's power output to maintain an even field.

At Wakefield the car ran strongly in its first competitive outing, completing qualifying and all three races, even though the front differential was inactive.

A number of SSS Automotive staff and customers have cars competing in the Inproved Production Under 2 Litre class, and also in Sport Sedans.

Michael Corolla Michael Hernando has been competing in the Sport Sedan class for a number of years now in a yellow Toyota Corolla powered by a Mazda 13B engine. Michael's class allows for a greater variety of modification than the Improved Production class, and cars competing here include Chev Camaros, 5 Litre Holden Commodores and Ford Falcons, Mustangs, Calibras, Fiats, SAABs, and heavily modded RX7s. Michael is also the NSW Sport Sedan Association webmaster in his spare time!

Anthony Gemini Anthony McDonald's Gemini will have its first run at Eastern Creek for Round 2 of the NSW State Championship, April 28th - 30th in the Improved Production Under 2 Litre class. Anthony worked at SSS before moving up to the Central Coast. His Gemini has been bought from a previous competitor and Anthony has completed some improvements on the car to bring it up to speed.

David Crighton debuted the Nissan Sylvia S13 at Oran Park for Round 3 of the NSW State Championships in the Under 2 Litre category. Dave is using the CA18 engine he had installed in his previous car, a Datsin 1600. Dave finished just outside the placegetters and was very happy with the car's performance.
